Anxiety

When suffering with either anxiety/depression or both it can feel as if your life is falling apart at the seams. Or you could feel like you are trapped in a prison of your own thoughts.

We all ‘do’ anxiety differently. Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their lives such as being worried about an exam or a medical test. But for others these feelings may not go away so easily and can compound and grow allowing you to feel overwhelmed and confused, meaning everyday fears and worries start get you down and you could find it hard to switch of and relax.

We work with clients regularly with anxiety and have shown how identifying and understanding our unconscious patterns that create anxiety we can break free from them.

Eating Disorders

People suffering with an eating disorder focus and obsess around food, believing that by controlling food intake or weight they can rid themselves of the emotional pain they feel.

Eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and compulsive overeating are closely linked with anxiety and/or depression.

The source of the anxiety is usually totally unrelated to food, appearance or body image but more often associated with lack of control or build-up of anxiety in other areas of the person’s life.

If you’re suffering with an eating disorder like anorexia, bulimia or binge eating and are ready to free yourself from it, then we’re exactly the right people to help you.

Cancer Coaching

As with many types of complementary therapy, some people with cancer use hypnotherapy to help them relax and cope with symptoms and treatment.

I’m experienced in supporting people living with Cancer and that includes my own journey. If you could imagine having someone to support you through diagnosis, tests, treatments and in remission, it can be the thing that makes the difference. Often emotional health and wellbeing are not given the time and support needed when everything is focused on the next appointment or results of tests.

Hypnotherapy can therefore be used alongside the conventional medical treatments for cancer for a number of different purposes, such as, hypnosis can help people to reduce stress, anxiety, pain, depression, guilt, anger, hostility, frustration, isolation, overwhelming negative thought patterns, a diminished sense of self-esteem, dealing with death anxiety and other related issues.
